Social media algorithm that moves its users to be part of homogeny digital communities leads them to echo chamber phenomena and rises artificial walls between the polarized digital groups of social media users. This polarization is then exacerbated by the spread of hoaxes which escalates hatred between the groups. The lack of diversity exposure within these homogeny digital groups and the significant rise of hatred then leads to intolerant practices in the real world. In line with those who promote positive internet ecosystem like Kemkominfo with its Siberkreasi programs, and MUI, MPI Muhammadiyah, and NU that have released Social Media Guide, Siskamling Digital movement which has been initiated by MAFINDOan Indonesian voluntary network that has engaged in activities against fake news since 2016 and which is characterized by multipronged approach is a significant endeavor to suppress potential threats of intolerance fostered by bad digital ecosystem. This multipronged approach outlines three strategies which has been applied simultaneously: detect, counter, and prevent. This movement also involves people from different religion, profession, and political orientation who share the same vision namely to create positive internet ecosystem in order to build peaceful religious and political situation.
