Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

ARTICLES WRITING GUIDELINES

Jurnal Tarbiyatuna: Kajian Pendidikan Islam

 I. GENERAL

    1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English and never published in any journal that has an ISSN or ISBN.
    2. The text submitted by the author is the original scientific paper, has never been published, and is not being submitted for publication in other media/journals.
    3. The text proposed may be results of the study (field/literature), conceptual ideas, studies, application of theories, and criticism in the social, humanities, and technology.
    4. The manuscript should be written in the form of an article, not a report, and presented following the principles of good Indonesian or English language.
    5. Authors must register as authors at this link: http://ejournal.iaiibrahimy.ac.id/index.php/tarbiyatuna  before they can get into to Jurnal Tarbiyatuna: Kajian Pendidikan Islam, to send and upload manuscripts.
    6. Manuscripts to be published in Jurnal Tarbiyatuna: Kajian Pendidikan Islam are reviewed by peer reviewers.
    7. The editorial board has the right to edit the manuscript without making any changes to its content.
    8. The author is responsible for the content of the published manuscript.
    9. Bibliography arranged alphabetically refers to the APA 7th edition Style of Citation.
    10. Jurnal Tarbiyatuna: Kajian Pendidikan Islam will notify the author if a manuscript is not accepted for publication.
    11. Legally submitted manuscripts and illustrations are the property of the publisher and may not be published in other media/journals without the official permission of the publisher.
    12. Authors are encouraged to cite articles from Jurnal Tarbiyatuna: Kajian Pendidikan Islam in their manuscripts when relevant.
    13. All forms of communication related to the submission process must be electronic-based.
    14. The article has not been published in any media and is not being submitted to other journals.
    15. The article does not contain the results of plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication of data.

    17. Articles and illustrations submitted and published remain the property of the authors. However, by submitting the manuscript, the authors grant permission to Jurnal Tarbiyatuna to publish and distribute the article. The article may not be republished in other media without written permission from both the authors and the publisher. 
II. SYSTEMATICS OF MANUSCRIPT WRITING
1. Title
  • Title, author's name, affiliate and corresponding email.
  • The title should not be more than 16 words, describing the entire content of the writing.
2. Abstract
  • Abstracts should be written in Indonesian and English.
  • Abstracts are created in a single paragraph without subtitles consisting of backgrounds, objectives, methods, results and conclusions and keywords (3-5 phrases), maximum of 250 words.
3. Content
  • Subtitles consist of: Introduction (consisting of background, literature review, formulation of problems and objectives written in a single chapter without subtitles), Methods of Implementation, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and Reference Lists.
  • The manuscript consists of 4000 - 6000 words.
  • Images must be in JPEG format and have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots per inch), tables should be included in the contents of the text and not as attachments.
  • Figures and tables should be numbered with table numbers and headings as well as brief information about tables, with single spaces.

4. Reference

References in the text of the article must be registered in the Referral List section. Reference lists should contain reference libraries derived from primary sources (scientific journals and amounting to a minimum of 80% of the entire bibliography) published in the last 10 (ten) years. Each article contains at least 15 (fifteen) reference lists. APA 7th edition Style of Citation. Writing a reference system in article text and writing a reference list are compiled using a reference management application program for example: Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero, or others.
